Q&A with HÖRFA model Óskar Guðmundsson

HÖRFA model Óskar Guðmundsson, 28 from Iceland, currently living in Stockholm, Sweden, reveals his innermost secrets in our exclusive Q&A session.

What is your favourite part of a fashion shoot?
“Most my shoots are outdoors in amongst nature so my favourite part is just exploring beautiful landscapes while trying to find a perfect location for a shot”

What has been your proudest moment in your career so far?
“Just feeling the love and kindness I get when I share my pics.”

What would be your dream photoshoot?
“In some new exciting country where I can take some unique shots. I´m going to Egypt in a few weeks so hoping on some cool shots from there.”

How would you describe your style?
“It’s always a little hard to describe your own style but I’ll try; I have a rather big red beard, so that’s maybe the first thing people notice. I usually wear leather boots, black skinny jeans and a fitted t-shirt or oxford shirt. When it´s cold outside I often wear a traditional Icelandic wool sweater, they are just so warm and comfy.”

What is your favourite HÖRFA item?
“I own the Eruption sweatshirt, I think that one is very nice. I also think the new Classic t-shirts look very cool.”

Who are your heroes?
“As cliché as it may sound, I have always looked up to Arnold Schwarzenegger.”

What makes you happy?
“I love spending time with my girlfriend and friends, especially while travelling. But I can also really enjoy some quality ‘me time’ where I just relax and play computer games.”

Favourite album?
“What I listen to often depends on my mood or what I am doing, I listen to all sorts from classical music to rap, rock and techno. But if I had to choose one, I guess it would be The Cure – Disintegration.”

Favourite film?
“I have many favourite films, but if I have to choose one, I would have to say Scarface!”

Tell us something that no one knows about you?
“A little embarrassing, but I don’t know how to whistle!”
